I’m based in Ericeira, Portugal, and often travel back to the US to see family. One of my favorite ways to understand a destination is through its everyday rhythms—local markets, grocery stores, and neighborhood cafés where you really feel the place. Travel, for me, is about slowing down, noticing the small details, and feeling at home in a new setting.
